ACES Volleyball School develops well-rounded athletes by building on individual skills beginning with basics, fundamentals, technique and strength and conditioning.
Athletes will be evaluated and will have the opportunity to implement skills during ACES Volleyball School scrimmages. In order for coaches to provide individual attention, coach athlete ratio will be maintained.
We use our ACES framework while coaching our players:
LEVEL 1
awareness
First, we focus on AWARENESS:
To establish an understanding and foundation, students will learn terms, positions, importance of communication and be introduced to basic skills and mechanics.
Athletes with little to no experience. (Must be 8 years of age to enroll)
LEVEL 2
confidence
Then, we focus on CONFIDENCE:
which is rooted in participation and a result of one’s individual growth, understanding of the game and improved volleyball “IQ".

Next, we work towards being able to consistently EXECUTE volleyball skills introduced in current and previous levels:
Athletes will continue to build on essential volleyball skills:

SUCCESS
Lastly, we demonstrate a strong knowledge of they game by SUCCESSFULLY completing “higher level” skills, drills and play.
Athletes will have a thorough understanding of essential volleyball, fundamentals and mechanics as well as have the ability to self-correct.
